It’s all here in this trying and eye-opening exploration of the biblical principles on parenting, grief and how to live again after great loss. This book can help break the cycle of destruction and help make families function as God intended for them to, even thru the tragedy of death. Grief does not have to steal the life away of those living.

Author Angela Rodgers is unapologetically a lover and teacher of Christ. She is a native of Michigan, enjoys her country living with her kids and husband Myke. Angela and her husband have adult children, grandchildren, and dogs but equally important, Angela is a Preacher, Court Appointed Special Advocate and works to rescue women who have been victims of sex trafficking.

5.0 out of 5 stars Anyone can relate !!! I read the entire book this Morning, couldn’t stop. Jarred was one of my closest friends and I was one of the last people he spoke with and got a pic before he died. Since then I have lost my sister to suicide, and 2 more grand parents as well as a few other friends. I still grieve Jarred’s death and just grieved HARD the 1 yr anniversary (Sunday) of my sisters suicide. Grief Never leaves us, it can get easier with support, and coping skills. This book offers BOTH support from another person that feels what you have/do as well as coping skills you can implement. Diff wats you can address the triggers and the joy you can find in those dark moments. Take time to read! Even if you aren’t religious; there is hope and insight here that you can learn to implement in your own life! 5.0 out of 5 stars Great book This was a great book and a quick read, for me. Which, is a good thing. The author revealed a lot of herself, allowing you to truly feel what she went through. I love the fact she is open to let her Christianity and faith in God flow from her. She made a statement in the book that continues to go through my mind. Despite all she’s been through she says she and her husband and family have a life they don’t need a vacation from. I found myself a little envious of that. I highly recommend this book. It’s very thought provoking and a good avenue to help you through grief and other difficulties in your life. 5.0 out of 5 stars A read that will change you! This book is one that reaches in the parts of your soul you didn’t know you needed touched. Witnessing the loss through a strangers eyes soon makes you feel like you are there feeling all the things the author experienced. If you have been through the loss of someone and felt like your world was falling apart this book is a good way to help support you. Pick it up and give it a chance. 5.0 out of 5 stars This healed my soul! From reading this book you can tell the author poured their heart into it. Her story is amazing and after suffering losses of my own (although very different losses) myself this book has helped me release some anger and hatred I was holding onto against God. I look forward to reading more from her. A must buy for anyone broken hearted of any type of loss or heartache! 5.0 out of 5 stars This book is God-Ordained for Healing This author is transparent in her journey. It affords the reader the opportunity to know that they are not alone in their journey while also reminding the reader that God draws near to the brokenhearted. Thank you for sharing your process.
